New authors often feel very lucky to sell a dozen books let alone a truckload. There also known for saying that they aren’t really interested in selling thousands, they wrote only because they wanted to. They didn’t really want to get rich from it, some even say that they do want to get rich but they don’t deep down believe it will work out that way.
But what if there was a way to literally sell your book by the truckload? You can’t say you would return the money and send a letter saying you didn’t write it for the money. So if you could earn a huge income by selling your story you wouldn’t mind would you, of course not?
But how can you do that? You don’t have a publicity agent, a fancy publisher and you don’t know anyone in the industry, so what’s the catch?
Simple find one person to buy your manuscript not thousands of people, that’s the trick. We all know that it’s easier to find one person than it is to try to find ten thousand, and therefore it’s logical to conclude that its easier to sell to one person than it is to ten thousand.
With that in mind, what you do is create a simple one or two line pitch that encompasses your book. Next find a charity that your book ties into, for instance if your story is about recovering from a heart attack and losing your job in the process. A good charity choice may be the American Heart Association; they have been known to buy thousands of books to give away as bonus gifts to those who donate one hundred dollars.
By using this strategy you will likely sell thousands of copies of your story one in one sale to one person.
